Superbloom Landscape Architecture is deep into the community design process for the future of Warm Springs Preserve in Ketchum, Idaho. This November, Superbloom x RIO with the City of Ketchum and Wood River Land Trust hosted two public open houses and a Joint City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission Special Meeting at City Hall to review initial design concepts for the 65-acre Preserve. City Council and P&Z gave unanimous approval of the design direction and expressed their enthusiasm for how well the design incorporated community input.
A local paper, the Idaho Mountain Express covered the Special Joint Session in their article “Warm Springs Preserve plan inches closer to reality”, published on November 23rd. The design team presented ideas for new trails, creek and floodplain restoration on the lower creek edge in addition to an improved parking area with new amenities including all-season restrooms and a maintenance building. Superbloom and the design team will reconvene with the community in early 2023 for the next phase design.
