Our name refers to the desert superbloom and the latent potential of design to create spectacular future conditions.

SUPERBLOOM is an award-winning Colorado-based landscape architecture studio founded in 2021 by Stacy Passmore and Diane Lipovsky. Our practice of transformative design is grounded in a commitment to crafting meaningful connections between people and the land. We believe that every landscape is an opportunity to cultivate visionary future conditions.

Our work is diverse, ranging from climate adaptation planning and designing solar parks to rewilding golf courses and greening the roofs of boutique urban hotels. We restore cultural landscapes, create centers of community and play, and boldly reimagine forgotten places– all with relentless attention to the pressures of climate change and resource use.

In all of our projects we bring both design and strategy, working closely with clients, stakeholders and communities to develop authentic approaches for each project that can grow from concept to implementation. Our methods are based in the creation of trust-bound relationships, forging connections, rigorous research, engagement and field work. We explore ideas through various forms, from built projects to publications, design research and site specific installations.
